Do you feel that no one cares?
There is a story about young boy who was frightened one night during a large thunderstorm. The wind was blowing and the rain was beating against the window.
Terrified, he called out to his dad saying, "I'm scared!" His father not wanting to get out of bed, called back, "Don't worry son, God loves you and will take care of you." There was a moment of silence. Then the small boy sobbed back loudly. "I know God loves me and cares, but right now, I need love with skin on."
Sometimes, we need someone to come along side us and be there for us. It is not always the easiest thing to ask for help, or to offer help.
At Bozeat Chapel we are running six weekly sessions on Sunday afternoons called Paraclesis, to investigate ways in which we can care for others, or come alongside.
We invite any who are interested to come and join us, starting on 5th March through to 9th April at 2.30pm for just over an hour.
Light refreshments and a cup of tea will be offered during the time of discussion.
